It's no joke - It gets HOT in Texas. Shorts and tees become my go-to outfit to survive the extreme heat. Top - Old Navy, here Clutch - Kate Spade (no longer available), another cute option Bracelets - Navy Fitbit Flex (LOVE this thing!!!), Arrow bracelet Shorts - Old Navy (old), similar, another option Stay cool this summer!
After reading several reviews on charcoal cleansers, I decided to try the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. I have to say I do like the cooling sensation, but I am not impressed by the overall cleansing properties on this cleanser. It doesn't make my face feel super clean and I noticed traces of makeup still on my face after washing with this. I will most likely use the rest of it (switching back and forth with the Purity Cleanser by Philosophy, which I love), but would not buy it again. Next up to try...... Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleaner I love this brand, especially the BB Cream! I think this cleanser has been around for a while. I am hoping to find a travel or sample size, because I am hesitant to spend $30 on this cleanser. I might try to get a sample from Sephora on this one! Garnier Clean Blackhead Eliminating Scrub This one is definitely more affordable at only $8. I've used some of the moisturizers by this brand in the past and was not super thrilled with the results. I have; however, had luck with their shampoos and conditioners in the past. I will probably pick this one up today at Target! Have you tried any charcoal cleansers?
Thanks for stopping by! Cardigan- Here on sale at Target! (similar, love this color block one) T-Shirt- Kate Spade (sold out). Another option here. Bracelet- Steve Madden. A blinged out option here. Necklace- C18 by Robert Rose (from LittleBlackBag.com). Kate Spade has a cute one, too. Bag- Michael Kors Sloan. I like this blue one, too! Jeans- Old Navy (on sale for $10!!). Flats- Gap. Cute option here, but a little pricey. I also like these, these, & these. My husband and I just celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary! Since we are total foodies we had a blast trying new places to eat and sip some beer! I had a drink called a French Kiss, which is Blue Moon with Chambord liquor. It was yummy! Thanks for stopping by!
This is what the end of a successful weekend looks like! Thanks to Target, JCP, and a very patient hubby, I tackled some crazy sales! First up, JCP.... Target.... All items under $20! Happy Shopping! Thanks for stopping by!
Do you stalk sales? I love a good deal! Sometimes I watch sales hoping for another price break before I swoop in for the buy! These are some things I am currently watching. one: Michael Kors Small Sloan Bag, Silver- $200 Confession: I picked this up from Macy's (in store) last weekend. They had an additional 20% which made this a SUPER steal! two: Ivanka Trump Harriet Flats- $57 I am a sucker for loafers and flats. I have been on a total Ivanka Trump kick lately. three: Foley + Corinna "City" Leather Wristlet- $64 This wristlet is super cute! I love when brands have a consistent look across different bags and accessories. four: Bodhi Safety Pin Clutch, Purple- $169 I've been watching the price on this go up and down for several months. One day (soon, I hope) I will be able to snap it up! five: Marc by Marc Jacobs Techno Lynne Print 13'' Laptop Case, $105 This is the perfect combo of techie and girlie. I love the print! six: Invicta Angel Rose Gold Watch- $80 I am not sure how long I can stalk this one. I keep hovering over the 'add to bag' button! seven: Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.B. Bag, Woven & Neon- LastCall $315 The neon accent on this one really makes the bag stand out! eight: Michael Kors Selma Jewel Satchel, Black- $297 Another confession: With the 20% off in store at Macy's, adding this to my purchase last weekend was irresistible. What sales are you after?
Thanks for stopping by!! Just a quick post to share some of the cuteness from my weekend shopping adventures! Happy shopping & thanks for stopping by!
One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is to go shopping! (Okay, maybe not just on the weekend!!!) I've been on a Philosophy kick recently, and I absolutely love the Wild Blackberry Blossom scent! This one was on clearance at TJ Maxx for $5! I also picked up the Essie nail polish for $3, the Bad Dog hat (for La'Pooh) for $2, and the cute ice cream cone shower cap for $2. On to Nordstrom Rack....
I wishlisted this Steve Madden bag a month or so ago. I was thrilled to see it on clearance for $20 and in a nice cognac brown color that I had not seen before!! I also grabbed the Shine Control Deep Clean face scrub. It smells great! Some cute pink sunnies by Steve Madden on sale for $14, Stila face highlighter (amazing!!!) for $7, and the Philosophy Candy Cane lip gloss for $4. Like I mentioned before, I'm on a total Philosophy kick right now. Did you shop this weekend?? Thanks for shopping by! I've been wanting to try Pho Soup for some time now, but was waiting on a good recommendation. Finally, we got one and the weather could not be more prefect (seriously, in the 30s) for a big bowl of soup, so Pho Souping we went! We started with some Vietnamese egg rolls. They were awesome! Wrapped in lettuce with some chili paste, I could eat these al day! I had a soup with chicken and I love all the yummy fixings they give you. We added lime, bean sprouts, fresh basil, and jalapeños. I also added about 3 spoons of chili paste because I can't get enough spice!! However, I could not conquer the bowl. Packed it up to go and couldn't wait to eat it again later! I laughed when I saw all the slurp splashes on the wall!!! (Ok, maybe that's a little gross) This soup is awesome! I will eat it again, but would probably do all veggie-- skip the chicken. :) Moving on.... I totally fell for the sales at Old Navy. These guys really know how to make a deal! Top Left: Sweaters were on sale, so I picked up this emerald one. Top Right: This is actually the reason I went into Old Navy. These black diva fit slacks with the white stripe down the side. On sale and perfect for work! Bottom Left: Shoes were on sale. Enough said. 30% off, but there was another pair I want that wasn't in the store (I checked 2 different stores!!). Bottom Right: I could not resist!!! Yes, these were in the kid's department, but so cute and funny! Perfect for me and this cold weather! Running around in this cold weather was not my favorite. I bundled up in an pink and black houndstooth sweater with a sparkly bib necklace! I hope you had a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
