It's no joke - It gets HOT in Texas. Shorts and tees become my go-to outfit to survive the extreme heat. Top - Old Navy, here Clutch - Kate Spade (no longer available), another cute option Bracelets - Navy Fitbit Flex (LOVE this thing!!!), Arrow bracelet Shorts - Old Navy (old), similar, another option Stay cool this summer!
I can't even begin to discuss all the many crazy things that have happened in the past few months. So, I will just resume my posts now with a wish list! I have a bad habit of "sale stocking" things I want. Ya know, waiting for sales or lower prices. That can sometimes put me in a situation where the item sales out and I have to use eBay or other online sites to try and track them down. These are a few Kate Spade lovelies that I am currently on the hunt for. I've actually found a couple of them (fingers crossed). These are my Kate Spade wishes..... Thanks for stopping by!
Foley + Corrina Gold bag, Black Bag, Gold Wristlet I have been sale stalking these Foley + Corrina bags for awhile. I really love the collection and the consistent details across all of the bags and accessories. The gold bag has a gorgeous shimmer to it. I am in love!! Plus these are on crazy sale- the black bag is a steal at $49, the wristlet is $25, and the gold bag is $128! Sephora 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 My favorite thing about shopping online is getting freebies! Sephora is awesome at giving free samples with all orders. The Honey fragrance by Marc Jacobs smells so good! The scent is so fresh and sweet. I am really excited to try the other samples, especially the Buxom foundation and the Tarte mascara! I also picked up a few things from Kate Spade! The "Break the Ice" Tumbler is super cute and perfect to carry around (I will have to get a new one, because this one arrived broken)! I love totes that are light-weight and stylish to carry around on shopping trips. This one is perfect and only $16. The Kate Spade lipstick is awesome! I love nudes and this shade, Sweet Blush, is absolutely perfect!
Have you been online shopping lately? Thanks for stopping by! Let me start by saying this is all Target's fault. This past week they had 30% off furniture and of course they had to put the cutest couch in the world on the front of the ad. The collection only consists of the loveseat and an over sized chair, so it's not practical for us. I like to have plenty of seating for guests! But this sparked the itch to find something similar! I saw this one (above) at Rooms To Go. It's from the Cindy Crawford Collection and has the couch, loveseat, and chair so it just might work out! Plus I love the color and the accent pillows! Cindy Crawford's Collection also has this one (above). I think it's cute and really love the houndstooth pillows! It also has the couch, apartment couch, and matching chair so another good contender! The color looks brown in the picture, but it's a graphite grey very similar to the others. :) This one (above) is from West Elm. Their collection is very pricey! I do like the pieces and they are comparable to the other collections, but at a much higher cost! I also like this one and there is a sectional version here, but it doesn't look comfortable. Decisions, decisions.
Have you been searching for new furniture? Thanks for stopping by! After reading several reviews on charcoal cleansers, I decided to try the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. I have to say I do like the cooling sensation, but I am not impressed by the overall cleansing properties on this cleanser. It doesn't make my face feel super clean and I noticed traces of makeup still on my face after washing with this. I will most likely use the rest of it (switching back and forth with the Purity Cleanser by Philosophy, which I love), but would not buy it again. Next up to try...... Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleaner I love this brand, especially the BB Cream! I think this cleanser has been around for a while. I am hoping to find a travel or sample size, because I am hesitant to spend $30 on this cleanser. I might try to get a sample from Sephora on this one! Garnier Clean Blackhead Eliminating Scrub This one is definitely more affordable at only $8. I've used some of the moisturizers by this brand in the past and was not super thrilled with the results. I have; however, had luck with their shampoos and conditioners in the past. I will probably pick this one up today at Target! Have you tried any charcoal cleansers?
Thanks for stopping by! I am really excited to try some new products! 1. After watching way too many beauty videos on youtube, I decided I needed to try some new makeup brushes. This set from Sephora seems to be a good starter set, plus not as expensive as most I have heard about. I also like this set because it's pink! 2. We recently got a LUSH store- YAY! I've never tried their products, but I hear wonderful things. I purchased the dream cream- not a big fan of the scent, but curious to see how it works (especially on my SUPER dry legs). I've been using a Korres Body butter, which hydrates, but is too greasy for me. 3. This weather has done a number on my skin. I have some severely dry spots on my shins and haven't found the right product to help. I am hoping this one (plus the Dream Cream) will do the trick. Using the Philosophy Body Washes has helped a little. I love the Raspberry Sorbet scent! 4. I have been back and forth on wanting to buy a MAC Lipstick. I saw a video on this one (called Fleshpot), and decided this might be the one to try. My lips stay pretty dry most of the time. I am hoping this doesn't cause more dryness (as I have heard in a lot of the reviews). Also, was eye-balling this other lipstick color. I LOVE this hot pink, but not sure I can pull it off! 5. Infomercial confession! I have seen this product so many times on the infomercials and have been very curious on how it actually works. I never wanted to buy it online and deal with the hassle of returning if I didn't like it. Enter Sephora. Seeing this at Sephora, I knew I had to finally try it! I typically use Dove and Organix Kukui shampoos and conditioners because of my naturally frizzy hair. Have you tried any of these products?
